If you are presenting at the NEAR conference, please be sure to review the following notes for presenters while you are planning your presentation.
Schedule The presentation schedule runs from 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM. Doors open for registration at 9:00AM.
Conference Registration and Fees All presenters should be preregistered for the conference. The pre-registration deadline for presenters is April 26, 2019. All fees will be paid on site. Presenters should check in at the registration desk on the day of the conference to pay the conference fee. Please note that if you are working with a co-author / co-presenter, all members of the presentation team must pre-register individually. Registration
Reception Following the conference, the organizers are hosting a reception dinner for presenters and other participants. You can book a seat for the reception when you register and the reception fee (5000 yen) will be collected at the conference registration desk on the day of the conference. The reception is limited to 25 participants.
For Spoken Presentations Time: Presenters are asked to limit their talks to 40 minutes, including a question and answer session. Equipment: Each presentation room will be equipped with a projector suitable for Power Point style presentations (including audio) and a DVD player. White boards will also be available. Please note: The conference organizers are NOT able to provide computers. Presenters who wish to use a computer for their presentation must make their own arrangements. Internet access is NOT available in the presentation rooms or anywhere in the venue. Please bring your own WIFI if required.
For the Poster Session Poster session presenters are asked to set up their posters between 9:00 and 10:00 on the day of the conference. Posters will be presented on white boards. Presenters should bring their own board magnets to attach their posters. Please do not use tape or other adhesives. The maximum size of posters is B1 size - 100 cm (width) X 70.7 cm (height).
